Job Overview

Adecco is currently seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Paralegal to support our legal team. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our litigation processes and requires a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research on parties involved in legal cases.
  • Compile, organize, and index documentary evidence effectively.
  • Assist attorneys with electronic document review and production tasks.
  • Coordinate document production, including bates labeling and scanning.
  • Support attorneys in preparation for depositions and evidentiary hearings.
  • Manage service of process for legal documents such as citations and subpoenas.
  • Organize and review deposition transcripts and exhibits.
  • Prepare video deposition excerpts as needed.
  • Draft documents requested by attorneys, including pleadings and motions.
  • Proofread and cite-check motions and briefs, organizing supporting evidence.
  • File documents with courts in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Assist attorneys during hearings and trials with evidence presentation.
  • Prepare for trials by compiling exhibits and coordinating witnesses.
  • Maintain accurate docket/calendar entries with deadlines.
  • Stay updated on changes in legal rules and practices.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
  • Preferred background in civil litigation.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in software applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with discovery management databases, particularly Relativity.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor in interactions with clients and colleagues.
