Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time HR Manager to oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes. The ideal candidate will promote corporate values and enable business success through human resources management, performance management, training & development, employment cycle changes, talent management, benefits coordination, and maintain all records to state and federal standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide resolution of human resource, benefits questions, concerns, and issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law and human resources.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate record-keeping to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Manage and handle the hiring process, including writing job descriptions, placing advertisements, coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain an up-to-date Employee Handbook.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate the handling of unemployment compensation matters.
  • Ensure compliance with I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audit Form I-9.
  • Conduct exit interviews to determine reason(s) for separation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-6 years of general HR experience.
  • Proficient in employment laws across all states.
  • Experience with implementing training at all levels of employment.
Benefits

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.

Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
