Job Title: HR Onboarding Manager

We are seeking a motivated and committed individual to join our volunteer-driven team as an HR Onboarding Manager. This role will oversee the procedures our company follows before and after hiring new volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize orientation programs for new volunteers.
  • Act as a consultant to new volunteers, providing guidance and support.
  • Create and update our volunteer handbook.
  • Monitor new hired volunteer turnover and retention rates.
  • Schedule and oversee training sessions.
  • Introduce new hires to current volunteers.
  • Communicate with new volunteers before their start date to provide necessary information.
  • Process employment paperwork.
  • Liaison with internal teams to create corporate accounts for new volunteers.
  • Gather applicant experience feedback from new hires.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as an HR onboarding manager or in a relevant HR role, with experience in HRIS and ATS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidentiality and work ethics.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment:
  • Minimum 1+ year of commitment for the unpaid/pro-bono position.
  • Attend weekly meetings via MS Teams.
  • Minimum 5 hours per week, excluding meeting time.
