Position Summary

As the Environmental Services Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational needs of our support services department. Your leadership will ensure that our frontline associates are effectively coordinated, maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and regularly update standards and procedures for all staff members.
  • Plan and manage work schedules to guarantee adequate service levels.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including interviewing and training new staff.
  • Provide orientation, development, and supervision for all supervisory and housekeeping personnel.
  • Conduct routine inspections and offer recommendations for facility improvements.
  • Prepare monthly reports detailing goals, achievements, and future objectives.
  • Facilitate ongoing staff education and training programs.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff, administration, and other departments.
  • Coordinate external services such as pest control, window cleaning, and waste management.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
  • 1-3 years of management experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Capability to maintain organization in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative, responsibility, and leadership qualities.
  • Familiarity with contract administration and office procedures.
  • Proficient in digital tools and MS Office applications.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
