Hospice Marketing Specialist

The Hospice Marketer/Community Liaison is a key member of our team, responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships that lead to referrals and admissions. This role requires a strong ability to promote a positive company image in the community, working with physicians, case managers, hospitals, nursing facilities, adult care homes, and assisted living facilities to promote our home health services.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and other referral sources to promote our home care services.
- Obtain referrals and ensure timely education and consent from patients and families.
- Educate the community, referral sources, patients, and families on home health services through various activities, including in-services, presentations, and group meetings.
- Develop and maintain relationships within the admissions department and clinical personnel to ensure effective communication and referrals.
- Work with the Executive Director to develop, execute, and evaluate strategic marketing plans to grow patient census.
- Represent the company at community and business meetings to promote our services.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a health-related field (preferred).
- A minimum of two years' experience in referral development, marketing, or sales with a healthcare facility or medical-related company.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and respond well to changing priorities and conditions.
- Valid driver's license, current registration, and auto insurance.
- Self-motivation, desire to succeed, and a proven track record of success in building relationships with healthcare professionals.
