Job Overview

We're Scan.com, a digital health scale-up revolutionizing diagnostics. As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you'll support our patients, attorneys, and case managers in achieving our mission to simplify and accelerate access to diagnostic imaging.

This is an in-office position, Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm at our office in the Perimeter area. You'll play a crucial role in developing your role over time, with opportunities to work on various projects, including:

  • Communicating with attorneys and case managers to obtain and update case contact details and monitor case progress
  • Contacting patients to confirm legal representation and updating internal records
  • Maintaining and organizing files, logs, and medical records
  • Preparing and issuing invoices in a timely manner

Requirements

We're looking for a resourceful, proactive, and entrepreneurial individual who shares our passion for revolutionizing the diagnostic imaging industry. You'll need:

  • Fluent English and Spanish to communicate effectively with patients
  • Previous experience in MS Office products, especially working in Excel spreadsheets
  • Strong attention to detail and hyper-organization
  • Self-motivation and a willingness to learn
  • Previous experience working in electronic health/medical record systems is a plus
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and medical insurance regulations is preferred
