Job Title: Weekend Registered Treatment Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Weekend Registered Treatment Nurse at Onondaga Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supervision to our residents on the weekend shift. This includes:

  • Supervising and mentoring less experienced nurses
  • Establishing and implementing employee policies and procedures
  • Maintaining standards of care for the unit
  • Reviewing resident records and quality of care
  • Representing the unit's interests with upper-level management
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid NYS RN License
  • 2 years of Long Term Care experience (preferably)
  • 1 year of Charge Nurse experience (preferably)
  • An excellent positive attitude and leadership skills
  • Strong computer skills and excellent communication skills
