Job Title: Weekend Registered Treatment Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Weekend Registered Treatment Nurse at Onondaga Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supervision to our residents on the weekend shift. This includes:

  • Leading a team of nurses and ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
  • Mentoring and supporting less experienced nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Monitoring patient care and identifying areas for improvement
  • Representing the unit's interests and communicating effectively with management
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid NYS RN License
  • 2 years of experience in Long Term Care, preferably as a Charge Nurse
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong computer skills
