Job Title: Weekend Registered Treatment Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Weekend Registered Treatment Nurse at Onondaga Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our nursing team on weekends. As a Weekend Registered Treatment Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and mentoring less experienced nurses to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Establishing and implementing employee policies and procedures to maintain a positive work environment
  • Reviewing resident records and quality of care to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Representing the unit's interests with upper-level management and addressing resident and family concerns
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid NYS RN license
  • 2 years of long-term care experience, preferably as a charge nurse
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong computer skills
