Job Title: Weekend Registered Treatment Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Weekend Registered Treatment Nurse at Onondaga Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

Job Summary:

The Weekend Registered Treatment Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supervision to our residents on the weekend shift. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and supervision to residents on the weekend shift
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition or concerns to the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in New York State
  • 2 years of experience in long-term care or rehabilitation nursing
  • 1 year of experience as a Charge Nurse or in a leadership role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records
