About the Role

As a Forensic Clinical Services Coordinator at Vivo HealthStaff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the mental health needs of inmates are met.

$90,000 - $125,000 per year

This position involves providing individual and group therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Therapeutic Services:
    • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address various mental health concerns.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Work effectively with correctional staff, healthcare professionals, and external partners.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to share knowledge and coordinate care.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions.
    • Comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Professional Development:
    • Stay up-to-date with best practices in correctional mental health.
    • Offer training and support to colleagues on mental health topics.

Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Registration as a Clinical Psychologist, LCSW, MFT, or LPCC.
  • Desirable experience in correctional or forensic settings.
  • In-depth understanding of the DSM-V and mental health diagnosis.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
