About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Medical Surgical Trauma unit. This role offers a unique opportunity to take on a leadership position and make a significant impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-Day Clinical Management: Provide clinical management of the unit, maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring efficient throughput.
  • Clinical Expertise: Perform therapeutic care of patients being treated for cardiac, respiratory, renal, and other conditions, assessing acute changes, monitoring and analyzing heart rhythms, interpreting ECGs, noting arrhythmias, and intervening in emergency situations.
  • Patient Care Coordination: Assist with admission and discharge processes, ensuring high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services, collaborating with other members of the management team to drive improvement.
Requirements
  • Nursing Experience: 3+ years of current nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Leadership Experience: 1 year of leadership experience in a hospital setting.
  • Certifications: Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification.
