Job Title: Building Automation Systems Engineer I

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Automation Systems Engineer I to join our team at Mesa Energy Systems, a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction and facilities services. As a Building Automation Systems Engineer I, you will be responsible for operating control software, reading and identifying mechanical equipment on floor plans, and commissioning projects with assistance from senior-level engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate control software and read and identify mechanical equipment on floor plans
* Commission projects with assistance from senior-level engineers
* Fill out commissioning mechanical equipment for drawings and in the field
* Identify equipment deficiencies
* Understand simple electrical control circuits
* Coordinate work with Mesa electricians

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience
* 4 + years of relevant experience, with at least two years as an automation technician
* Working knowledge of at least one HVAC controls systems (preferably Delta, JCI or Andover)
* Knowledge of mechanical systems
* Ability to interface with customers and contractors at a supervisory and management level
* Engineering skills required include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and computer programming
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Good computer skills, understanding of controls networking
* Valid driver's license
