Pediatric Therapy Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support pediatric patients in their journey to improved mobility and independence.
Job OverviewAs a Home Health Care Specialist, you will deliver care in a home setting, working closely with our Physical Therapists to ensure each child can achieve their fullest potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in Patient Assessments and Care Planning: Support the physical therapist by performing evaluations, developing individualized rehabilitation plans, and conducting periodic re-evaluations.
- Implement Therapeutic Exercises and Interventions: Deliver prescribed exercises and therapies aligned with the patient's care plan to aid in physical development and recovery.
- Educate Families on Exercise Programs: Teach patients and caregivers how to safely continue therapeutic exercises at home, promoting long-term progress.
- Monitor and Document Patient Progress: Maintain accurate records of each session's activities, observations, and outcomes in a timely manner, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
- Support Safe Use of Assistive Devices: Instruct patients on using assistive devices, like walkers and canes, to foster greater independence and safety.
- Collaborate on Care Strategies: Join case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and optimize care plans.
