Position Overview:
As a key member of the Axelon team, the Lead IT Lab Analyst will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing laboratory IT operations. This role requires a proactive approach to developing and documenting essential procedures, policies, and best practices to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and document comprehensive procedures and policies for laboratory IT management.
  • Conduct peer reviews of operational checklists to maintain high standards.
  • Effectively manage and escalate IT-related issues to ensure swift resolution.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and corporate IT departments to facilitate communication.
  • Lead daily ticket scrums and generate governance reports to track progress.
  • Collaborate closely with account and product managers to align on service delivery.
  • Administer and provide support for customer laboratory IT environments.
  • Ensure connectivity and integration of customer systems.
  • Support various operating systems, hardware, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Oversee the onboarding, retirement, and relocation of IT equipment.
  • Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Identify and execute solutions to improve desktop support services.
  • Provide technical assistance for system validations and modifications.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of laboratory equipment and software assets.
  • Act as a primary contact for clients regarding software and hardware inquiries.
  • Participate in team meetings, assist in hiring processes, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Work collaboratively with Delivery and Product Managers to develop new services.
  • Mentor junior team members and manage escalated issues effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and manage administrative responsibilities.

  • Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledgeable in laboratory safety protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of technical experience in laboratory IT or regulated environments.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in IT.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in GxP laboratory environments.
  • Familiarity with scientific instrumentation.
  • Experience in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and managing change control.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in an IT setting.
