Job Title: Case Manager

Safe Horizon is seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our team. As a Case Manager, you will provide critical support to victims of domestic violence and other forms of victimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide client-centered crisis intervention, emotional support, and case management to victims of crime and abuse.
  • Report daily to the IDV Court to conduct outreach to clients awaiting their cases to be called.
  • Advocate with IDV and Family Court personnel on behalf of clients.
  • Safety planning and risk assessment.
  • Referring victims to shelters and other services as needed.
  • Assisting clients with relocation and housing.
  • Providing emergency practical assistance, including OVS compensation applications, transportation, food vouchers, financial assistance, emergency cell phones, and lock replacement.
  • Attending internal and external meetings, trainings, and workshops.
  • Maintaining thorough and accurate case records and statistics.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence and other forms of victimization.
  • Experience working with survivors of domestic violence.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team while also independently generating tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the Family Court and criminal justice system.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field or equivalent experience.
