Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment homes, buildings, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to flooring, drywall, and appliances, as well as troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, safety, and security systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of HVAC systems, lighting, and other equipment.
  • Paint interior and exterior surfaces, and clean common areas, including sweeping, mopping, and garden/yard upkeep.
  • Assist with unit turnovers, including performing maintenance inspections and repairs, and coordinating with other teams as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within residential property management.
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate required; technical school and/or CAMT certification, preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current motor vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and comply with facial hair policy.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Basic computer skills, including email and internet use.

  • Landscape and grounds maintenance experience.

  • Boiler system maintenance and repair experience.
  • Appliance repair and installation experience.
