Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician at La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham Seattle Sea-Tac Airport is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of the hotel's facilities and equipment. As a key member of our team, the Maintenance Technician will work closely with other departments to ensure that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay at our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the hotel by performing routine and deep cleaning tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back of house areas.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to identify and address maintenance issues.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing plumbing issues, and repairing furniture and equipment.
  • Assist with the upkeep and maintenance of the hotel's landscaping and outdoor areas.
  • Maintain and organize inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests and concerns.
  • Follow all safety procedures and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and utilized.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the management team.
  • Communicate and work closely with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and a seamless guest experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a hospitality or customer service environment.
  • Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
