About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to become Ambassadors for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the success of our park operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guests with information about park shows and attractions, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
- Communicate safety policies to park guests, promoting a safe and secure environment.
- Create physical barriers to guide crowds and prevent unauthorized access into parade routes, maintaining crowd control and order.
- Regulate the flow of people at certain entry/exit points throughout the parade routes, ensuring efficient crowd management.
- Assist with directing foot traffic before, during & after each parade, minimizing congestion and delays.
- Project, articulate & stand tall in speaking to large groups of spectators to deliver pertinent information during parade, effectively communicating with guests.
- Ensure excellent customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectations, and needs, providing a high level of satisfaction.
- Enthusiastically represent the park by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job, embodying the SeaWorld spirit.
- Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas, upholding the highest standards of presentation and maintenance.
- Assist with park emergencies, including inclement weather, demonstrating adaptability and crisis management skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned, embracing a flexible and collaborative approach to work.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old, meeting the minimum age requirement.
- Strong team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to exceptional guest service, prioritizing customer satisfaction and experience.
- Ability to pass all necessary training, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to remain calm, troubleshoot and make quick decisions in stressful situations, showcasing resilience and composure.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities with ease.
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift, meeting the physical demands of the role.
- Ability to climb on ladders, stadium steps, and uneven surfaces, demonstrating physical agility and flexibility.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 300 lbs. on a cart with assistance, meeting the physical requirements of the job.
- Ability to train on and properly use protective gear, prioritizing safety and well-being.
- Comfortable working around water and animals, embracing the unique aspects of the SeaWorld environment.
- Must be able to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
- Scheduling flexibility, able to work a variety of shifts and schedules.
- Valid state driver's license preferred, but not required.
- Bilingual skills highly desirable, but not essential.
