Host - Guest Experience Specialist

At Earl Enterprises, we're looking for a skilled Host to join our team. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your role will be to create a welcoming atmosphere, manage the flow of guests, and ensure that every guest feels valued and respected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls in a friendly and timely manner, taking messages and providing information to guests.
- Greet guests upon arrival and bid them farewell as they depart, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Process To-Go orders, package them accurately, and tender payments while following cash handling procedures.
- Present accurate bills, collect payments, and balance cash receipts.
- Maintain accurate records of coupons, cash, promotions, vouchers, and credits.
- Provide guests with detailed information about our restaurant, including menu offerings and promotions.
- Ensure the arrival area remains clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Monitor the flow of the restaurant, including table turnover, guest arrival, and departure, and pace of the restaurant.
- Work with the service staff to reset tables efficiently.
- Clean up spills and breakage, and pre-set flatware.
- Clean and maintain menus, menu inserts, and other materials.
- Communicate guest needs to management and service staff as needed.
- Page and seat guests efficiently.
- Assist with the sale of gift cards.
- Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms and lobby areas.
- Welcome and assist job applicants.
- Maintain walkways inside and outside the restaurant.
- Assist with locating guests for phone calls or messages.
- Thank guests for joining us and invite them to return.
- Follow the Ten Points of Difference and Guest Standards of Execution as described in the Host Workbook.
