Recovery Nurse Job Description

As a Recovery Nurse at Swedish Health Services, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals recovering from various medical procedures. This is a full-time position working 36-hour weeks with 12-hour shifts, offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, identify, and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting autonomy and empowerment throughout the recovery process.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • At least 1 year of experience in recovery nursing, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
