Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team at Capital Staffing, Inc.

This position requires experience in Section 8/LIHTC property management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce rental agreements, collect monthly rent, security deposits, late charges, and tenant damages.
  • Make bank deposits and mail journal sheets (with attached bank receipts, and any voided rent receipts to the management agent)
  • Make collection efforts to secure payment of past due rent, or damages
  • Complete all paperwork, Rental Agreements, Tenant Certifications, Notices in an accurate and timely manner
  • Distribute apartment applications to prospective tenants and be responsible for screening and qualifying them
  • Prepare necessary move-in and move-out inspection reports
  • Maintain accurate records of all petty cash and expenditures, reimbursements,
  • Operate and maintain all office equipment safely.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • 2-3 years previous experience in property management
  • 2+ years experience in HUD/Section 8 is preferred
  • Ability to pass a background screening
  • Excellent communication skills with residents, supervisors, and vendors
  • Punctuality and self-motivation
