Inclusion Staff for Children with Additional Needs

South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo) is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our before and after school programs as Childcare Inclusion Staff. This role involves engaging with students, with a focus on those with additional needs, to create an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Activity Planning and Leadership: Develop and lead activities and games that promote inclusion and cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Inclusion Initiatives: Design and implement initiatives that foster an inclusive atmosphere and support students with additional needs.
- Attendance and Communication: Take attendance, communicate with parents/guardians during drop-off and pick-up, and maintain accurate records.
- Environment Maintenance: Ensure a safe, clean, and positive environment for students, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Staff Support and Development: Serve as a coach and mentor for other program staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Program Operations: Participate in regular staff leadership meetings, open and close programs as needed, and contribute to the overall success of the program.
- Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $24.10.
- Flexible Scheduling: Choose from full-time (split shift) and part-time (before or after school) opportunities, with the option to increase hours during the summer and on non-school days.
