We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Division of Cardiovascular Health at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of innovative healthcare solutions.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a Master's Degree in Nursing and be certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with prescriptive authority. You will have a minimum of three years of nursing experience, with a strong background in cardiovascular health. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Conduct intake assessments, triage, and admissions, including pertinent history, physical, psychosocial, and cultural dimensions.
- Interpret patient conditions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Participate in hospital and provider performance improvement activities.
- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Ohio APRN license with prescriptive authority.
- Active Board Certification in appropriate nursing specialty.
- BLS Certification.
