Lumos Network Operating Company is seeking a skilled and motivated Access Control Analyst I to join our team in a remote capacity.
Role Responsibilities:
The Access Control Analyst I will evaluate vendor services for Lumos's telecommunications divisions. The primary goal is to conduct thorough audits of vendor expenditures to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
These opportunities may include strategic renewals of services that are currently out of contract, discontinuing unnecessary services, or managing projects aimed at optimizing vendor services or integrating them into the Lumos network.
In this role, the Access Control Analyst I will assist the Network Operations Center and Sales teams by maintaining up-to-date vendor contact and escalation lists, as well as network and building inventories.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must possess an associate or bachelor's degree.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Experience in telecommunications is advantageous.
- Familiarity with telecommunications services, networks, and products is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Exemplary organizational skills, analytical thinking, and sound judgment in negotiations.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
