Curriculum and Student Engagement Specialist

The College of the Holy Cross seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Registrar for Curriculum and Student Engagement to join our team. This role will oversee curriculum management, course scheduling, and the implementation of academic courses, programs, and policies approved by the College.
Responsibilities:- Manage the College's curriculum development and approval process, ensuring compliance with college policy and identifying potential issues within curricular proposals.
- Serve as the knowledge expert regarding the curricular process and maintain accurate course information in the curriculum database (CourseLeaf) and PeopleSoft.
- Collaborate with departments across campus to coordinate production of the College's annual academic catalog.
- Work closely with department chairs to develop the schedule of classes, review and approve department schedules, and train class schedule builders on software used to build the schedule.
- Develop the production schedule for the semester class schedule build and create and produce the semester final exam schedule each semester.
- Manage internal and external communications, including the Registrar's website, intranet site, and incoming student site.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in registrar operations, curriculum management, or related areas in higher education, or a Master's with two years of experience.
- Experience with student information systems and scheduling software.
- Superior organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a busy, complex environment with competing priorities.
- Impeccable attention to detail and proficiency in standard office software and the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to work independently, anticipate and resolve problems with minimal supervision, and build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues.
