Danvers Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Secondary Behavior Technician. This is a one-year position that will provide critical support to students, teachers, and staff in a dynamic and fast-paced educational environment.
Key Responsibilities- Implement Tier 1 support and interventions with the student population at large during class time and transitions.
- Access and utilize student behavior data and out-of-classroom time data via SmartPass to provide targeted student interventions and support.
- Assign and manage a caseload of students that need individualized support in transitioning from course to course and/or accessing additional resources as needed.
- Coordinate with liaisons of students on IEPs and 504s to collect data and provide feedback and support around meeting stated student goals.
- Serve as a resource and support staff member for our TLC programming in order to support the SEL goals of students transitioning back to DHS after short-term leaves of absence.
- The ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of the child, parent, and classroom teachers.
- The ability to receive constructive feedback in a professional manner.
