At Crescent Hotels and Resorts, we are committed to providing exceptional experiences for our guests and creating a positive work environment for our associates. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Embassy Suites Deerfield.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing HR team to support the hotel's business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Crescent Hotels and Resorts' policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective HR programs, including employee engagement, retention, and development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with department managers to provide guidance and support on HR-related matters.
  • Manage employee relations, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Administer benefits, compensation, and time-off programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Provide HR support for employee onboarding, offboarding, and other HR-related processes.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a full-service hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and laws, including employment law, benefits administration, and compensation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems, including timekeeping, payroll, and benefits administration.
