About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Philanthropy Development Officer to join our Advancement team at Page Mechanical Group Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in securing substantial philanthropic donations to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Donor and Prospect Research: Identify, research, and prioritize potential donors for major gift cultivation and solicitation. Participate in strategy sessions and planned giving initiatives.
  • Solicitation and Cultivation: Manage a portfolio of major donors, drafting correspondences, proposals, and reports. Cultivate and steward donors, while assisting with individual campaign support.
  • File Management, Documentation, and Organization: Create and implement solicitation plans, manage donor projections, and enhance systems for major gift operations.
  • Team Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Marketing and Events Coordinator and regional Directors to plan donor-centric events. Assist in donor engagement and volunteer coordination, supporting varying development efforts.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of fundraising experience, demonstrating success in securing major gifts from individuals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for donor engagement and exceptional communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, anticipating donor needs and meeting fundraising goals.
  • Comfort discussing and soliciting donations, along with high emotional intelligence and self-discipline.
  • Familiarity with industry standards in donor solicitation and stewardship practices.
