Responsibilities: The Traveling Industrial Electro-Mechanical Specialist is tasked with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of electrical and mechanical systems within a manufacturing setting. This role necessitates a high level of proficiency across various skill sets, including electrical controls, PLC troubleshooting, 480v three-phase motors, fluid power systems, mechanical assemblies, and manufacturing methodologies. The individual will engage in medium to advanced machine systems diagnostics and repairs, while also offering technical support throughout all operational phases.

Qualifications/Skills:

Essential:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial manufacturing.
  • Proficient in PLC troubleshooting, including inputs/outputs and program modifications.
  • Familiarity with Factory Talk or comparable HMI software.
  • Experience with photo eyes, sensors, limit switches, and solenoids.
  • Capability in repairing and troubleshooting conveyor systems (line controls).
  • Understanding of mechanical systems (bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes).
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Experience with high and low voltage systems.
  • Ability to utilize a multimeter for diagnosing various electrical issues.
  • Physical capability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent requirements to stand, walk, use hands for handling or feeling, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and communicate effectively.

Preferred:

  • Experience in PLC programming.
  • Ability to pull wire and bend conduit.
  • Welding skills.
