- Conduct quality audits, logs, and checklists as assigned, ensuring accurate and complete documentation of care.
- Provide staff education, consultation, and oversight based on facility policy, planned or identified needs, and regulatory guidance.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, room changes, hospital transfers or returns as needed, ensuring a seamless transition for residents.
- Oversee medical supply inventory and ordering of supplies, ensuring timely delivery and availability.
- Conduct rounds throughout the shift to ensure quality resident care is performed, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and other disciplines or healthcare professionals, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Current LPN license by the Mississippi Board of Nursing.
- Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal communication.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, perform overhead lifting, and perform other common physical movements as needed for the position.
- Ability to lift and carry in excess of 50 pounds.
