Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that drives growth and sustainability.
  • Maintain and grow a portfolio of existing major foundations and individual funders.
  • Oversee the research, qualification, and management of a robust pipeline of new donor prospects.
  • Supervise and coach a global development team responsible for grant writing, events, major individual gifts, communications, grassroots fundraising, government grants, and development operations.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in major gift fundraising.
  • Strong connections to key foundations that align with our priorities.
  • Ability to set goals, hold the team responsible for KPIs, and regularly monitor and adjust course to ensure annual fundraising goals are met.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $170,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on location and experience. CorpsAfrica offers a comprehensive benefits package, including employer-paid medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and generous paid time off.

Location

This position may be based in the DC metro area, Kenya, or one of our other offices in Ethiopia, The Gambia, Ghana, Malawi, Morocco, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, or Uganda.
