BridgePoint Associates, a Catholic education institution in the Washington, D.C. area, is seeking an experienced Director of Development. The successful candidate will lead fundraising efforts to support our mission of providing K-8 education in underserved communities.

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled professional to manage our full lifecycle of fundraising from individuals, foundations, and corporations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing gifts from various funding sources, including writing and submitting grant proposals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies aligned with our strategic plan.
  • Collaborate with the President and Board on fundraising efforts and an annual development plan.
  • Provide comprehensive moves management of donors and prospects, including prospect research.
  • Secure gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
  • Write and submit grant proposals, provide follow-up reporting.
  • Communicate our organization's mission and values to donors.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant fundraising experience, preferably in a Catholic or independent school setting.
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of securing gifts and building strong relationships with donors and prospects.
  • Experience securing funds from private foundations and corporations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Salesforce or similar experience.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Salary Range: Up to $125,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience. This position is based in Washington, D.C. and operates fully in office.
