Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Lab Engineer/Lab Engineer to join our Microelectronics Design and Applications (MDA) team. This role will support the development of emerging supercomputing technologies and require a strong background in electrical test or research lab activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support test operations and test development activities for multiple superconducting electronics development laboratories.
  • Coordinate and control program assets and maintenance, including calibration activities, consumables, and general upkeep of cryogenic test systems.
  • Be the point of contact for installations, repairs, and deliveries of test equipment and test systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 6 months of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree in STEM, or a PhD in STEM.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience supporting electrical test or research lab activities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to team members both verbally and in writing.
  • Familiarity in leading small teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in electronic testing equipment and associated test platforms.
  • Familiarity working with cryogens, Liquid Helium and Nitrogen.
  • Working knowledge of Matlab.
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and requirements.
