Job Opportunity

A well-established custom machine building company is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join their team.

The company, a world-class leader in custom machine building, creates machines for critical industries that impact our daily lives. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in building complex parts and machines that require a combination of physical and mental skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reviewing technical drawings and instructions to plan and execute assembly tasks efficiently.

- Assembling machines and equipment with attention to quality, efficiency, and productivity.

- Ensuring proper positioning, alignment, and leveling of steel beams, bedplates, and machinery using blueprints and various tools.

- Safely connecting power units to machines and testing their mechanical operation.

- Demonstrating flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet deadlines.

- Occasional overnight travel for up to 4 weeks per year.

Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, belt systems, motors, and other industrial machine components.

- Ability to accurately use measuring instruments and tools.

- Strong math and analytical skills for measuring, calculations, and geometric concepts.

- Light machining and fabrication skills are a plus.

- Basic knowledge of machine shop operations.

- Proficiency in using ladders, overhead cranes, scissor lifts, and forklifts.
