Mechanical Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our team at Marine Travelift and ExacTech. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for our machines using SolidWorks.

• Utilize CAD software effectively to produce high-quality 2D drawings that detail components, dimensions, and assembly of our various products.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand design specifications and revise drawings based on feedback and changes.
• Facilitate effective communication to ensure all teams are aligned on production schedules, specifications, and requirements.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for any quality issue that may arise.

• An Associate's degree or diploma in Mechanical Drafting, Mechanical Design, or a related field.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to intuitively understand how things work.
• A basic understanding of Hydraulic & Electrical schematics & components.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong understanding of complex technical concepts.
