Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our team in Sturgeon Bay, WI. As a key member of our design team, you will create detailed technical drawings and plans for our machines using SolidWorks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize CAD software effectively to produce high-quality 2D drawings that detail components, dimensions, and assembly of our various products.
  • Collaborate with engineers to understand design specifications and revise drawings based on feedback and changes.
  • Facilitate effective communication to ensure all teams are aligned on production schedules, specifications, and requirements.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for any quality issue that may arise.
Requirements:
  • An Associate's degree or diploma in Mechanical Drafting, Mechanical Design, or related field.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to intuitively understand how things work.
  • A basic understanding of Hydraulic & Electrical schematics & components.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong understanding of complex technical concepts.
