Associate In-House Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced attorney to join our legal team as an Associate In-House Counsel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business law and contract/transactional experience, with a proven track record of providing excellent legal support to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, purchase agreements, and terms and conditions with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure that all contractual agreements align with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all legal matters.
  • Research and draft various legal documents, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in developing and implementing human resource and business policies.
  • Provide guidance on employment-related issues, including investigations, terminations, wage and hour, workplace accommodations, and change in labor and business laws.
  • Participate in providing outside counsel, insurance companies, and governmental agencies with necessary information and documentation.
  • Establish and maintain relationships, credibility, and trust with management, team members, and customers through responsiveness, clear communications, and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing.
  • At least two years of experience in business/contracts/transactional law.
  • Proficient understanding of contract law.
  • Strong problem-solving and legal analysis abilities, sound judgment, discretion, and efficient project management skills.
  • Good organization skills and the ability to multitask on several projects simultaneously.
  • High degree of professionalism, organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload and prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts to management and work well with employees at all levels of the company.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team and in both cases remain driven to contribute.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with the ability to learn new systems.
