Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at WaFd Bank. As a key member of our branch management team, you will be responsible for supporting the manager and performing managerial duties in their absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand our consumer and small business client base.
  • Assist the manager in optimizing operational effectiveness and profitability to enhance shareholder value.
  • Support branch leadership in meeting branch production goals.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through the delivery of excellent service.

Requirements:

  • Five years minimum experience in a financial institution.
  • Prior banking experience, including previous work in sales or client relations.
  • Strong math skills, 10-key, and keyboarding.
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Teams, PowerBI, and Outlook.
  • Well-developed smartphone and digital channel skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills and superior written and oral communication skills.
