Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Medical Assistant to support a new provider in our fast-paced Comprehensive Pain Management and Spine clinic located inside the Boise Regional Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities

Collect medical history and urine tox screens
Provide patient education and support
Assist with chart prep, referral review, and prior authorizations
Schedule procedures and respond to patient calls and messages
Cross-train with front office staff and work collaboratively as a team

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam
Completion of either 6 months MA experience or completion of 100-hour MA externship required
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network required at hire
