National Training Manager for the National Guard Connectedness and Relationship Education System

The National Training Manager will work closely with the National Guard Bureau (NGB) J1 Warrior Resilience and Fitness (WRF) Division to manage the implementation of the National Guard (NG) Connectedness and Relationship Education (CARE) System.
This includes planning and executing site visits, trainings, and briefings across the nation, as well as developing and implementing marketing campaigns, implementation plans, and evaluation strategies.
The National Training Manager will work in coordination with the WRF Partnerships and Programs Branch and the NG CARES Director to ensure the successful development, implementation, and ongoing delivery of the NG CARES system.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with multiple stakeholders to support the development, implementation, and delivery of the NG CARES system.
- Identify program needs of State/Territory/Division Chiefs and develop action steps to provide them with the resources they need to implement program/training.
- Coach trainers at the State/Territory/Division Chief level on adult learning principles and techniques to advance learning and ongoing development.
- Conduct or facilitate required and recommended training sessions and maintain files and records of training attendance, completion, and evaluation.
- Develop support and training assistance for CARES programs, including instructor guides, participant handouts, and slides.
- Develop a process to review existing curriculum and suggest enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention.
- Oversee and monitor quality control and improvement activities at the State/Territory/Division Chief level.
- Assist in the management of the process for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of NG CARES through various assessment methods.
- Plan, schedule, execute, and instruct at least six Train-the-Trainer Courses.
- Master's degree in Leadership, Organizational Development, Talent Development, Adult Learning, Program Development, Human Development, Relational Leadership, or Program Management or related area.
- At least 10 years of experience with five years of supervisory and four years of training experience required.
- Exemplary skills in presenting/facilitating a wide variety of training to diverse audiences and the ability to instruct/coach others on training.
- Ability to work as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels.
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-task virtual environment.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce deliverables that carry a "stamp of excellence."
- Must have a valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to travel up to 40%, on average.
