We are seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to lead our Natural Ingredients business in Livingston, California. As a change leader, you will drive success through an engaged leadership style, implement process improvements, and create an empowering culture while supporting a rapidly growing business.
Key Responsibilities- Be a champion of change and utilize your exceptional people management skills to help transform the 400-employee organization to an optimized, empowered, and cohesive environment and team.
- Assess and measure current state, where you will coach and empower your direct reports to create processes and operating procedures, while always having improvement and safety top of mind.
- Utilize exceptional schedule and planning experience to drive plant production to its optimal state.
- Apply your manufacturing and plant leadership expertise to lead capital project management, identification of ROI investments, and maintaining a 5-year facility plan.
- Manage performance through proactive coaching and direction to ensure timely and efficient plant operations.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as Plant Manager and a minimum of 10 years of manufacturing plant leadership experience, preferably in the food industry with progressive growth in your career.
- Successful change management experience that includes experience coaching, transforming, and leading high-performing teams and/or organizations.
- Strong experience applying different root cause analysis (RCA) tools, including Five Why's, A3's, or other Lean manufacturing RCA tools that have led to significant improvements.
- Excellent planning skills and ability to formulate and maintain schedules for multiple objectives in a manufacturing environment.
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred but not required.

The Natural Ingredients unit is located in Turlock, California.
The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $180,000 USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive pay.
