Compensation Range: $19.00/Hour

*Range(s) – Based on Experience

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Culinary Preparation Specialist is responsible for the preparation of ingredients, crafting sauces, parboiling, and assembling simple dishes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare a variety of hot and cold menu items.
  • Create a detailed prep list for food preparation and ordering.
  • Adhere to the prep list to ensure timely execution.
  • Store food items properly to maintain freshness.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and machinery.
  • Exhibit culinary knowledge and follow recipes accurately.
  • Assist chefs during meal service.
  • Communicate effectively to meet the needs of guests and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and report any issues to management.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant culinary experience.
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work in both indoor and outdoor settings with varying conditions.
  • Fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of using hands and arms for handling kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Clear speech and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crawl as needed.
