Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 9 Months

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the business and eCommerce partner to identify, select, and implement a new eCommerce platform, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Develop and manage the IT project plan for the development/configuration and implementation of the new eCommerce platform.
  • Work closely with the business project manager to steer the project, defining goals, scope, deliverables, timeline, and budget.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and the eCommerce partner.
  • Manage necessary resources, such as developers, UX/UI designers, and testers, depending on the final selected platform.
  • Supervise testing phases and ensure the implementation of a robust QA process, together with the business project manager.
  • Support teams in resolving technical or other issues during the project and escalate issues where needed.
  • Identify and evaluate risks that may jeopardize project progress and take proactive actions to manage them, together with the business.

Skills Overview:

  • Qualifications/years of experience: At least 5 years of experience supporting/managing an eCommerce platform and at least 5 years in IT project management within the eCommerce ecosystem.
  • Must Haves:
    • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms and experience integrating systems such as ERPs, CRMs, and payment systems.
    • Experience with various project management methodologies, such as Prince2, Agile, Scrum.
  • Technology Requirements:
    • Familiarity with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure) and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
    • Familiarity with DevOps processes, CI/CD, and basic knowledge of software development.
