Jewelry Technical Sales Consultant - Customer Support Center
Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls in a small call center environment, offering consultative sales and initial jewelry technical support to customers.
- Engage with customers through phone, chat, and email to identify their needs and recommend how our products and services can fulfill those requirements.
- Provide guidance on jewelry products and processes to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Address customer inquiries with professionalism and friendliness to ensure a positive service experience.
- Inform customers about the advantages of loyalty and marketing programs.
- Manage sales opportunities from quotation to closure.
- Contribute to business growth by offering jewelry product and process recommendations.
- Process customer orders efficiently.
- Resolve customer service challenges while balancing the interests of both the company and the customer.
- Collaborate with colleagues and the Rio Jewelry Tech team to suggest and implement process enhancements.
- Participate in ongoing training opportunities related to jewelry-making products, processes, techniques, and consultative sales.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a background in sales and customer service, with a strong commitment to exceeding customer expectations. Additional qualifications include:
- A minimum of one year of experience with jewelry products and processes.
- A minimum of one year of sales experience, demonstrating a commitment to customer success.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage oneself and collaborate within a team-oriented culture.
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to analyze information to quickly identify customer issues and communicate effective solutions.
- A genuine interest in learning and applying new jewelry technology skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.
- Experience with jewelry bench skills is preferred.
- Proficiency in a Windows/Microsoft Office environment and adeptness in internet navigation.
- Typing skills of 35 WPM; proficiency in 10-key is preferred.
