Job Summary

The Prevention Specialist collaborates with community members to create positive outcomes through education, coalition building, and media plan development. This role works closely with community members and coalitions to provide educational opportunities for schools, alternative youth activities, media literacy, substance use training, and collaboration on events and projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement prevention programs to reduce substance use and promote healthy behaviors
  • Collaborate with community members and coalitions to provide educational opportunities and resources
  • Design and implement media plans to promote prevention messages
  • Provide training and technical assistance to community members and coalitions
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • One year of related work experience
  • Ability to pass background check and driver's license check
  • Proof of auto liability insurance coverage
  • Montana Driver's License with good driving record
