Job Summary:

Come join a diverse team of Prevention Specialists in the NW Region of Montana, who work with their communities in creating positive outcomes. The Prevention Specialist collaborates with community members in changing the norms and perceptions of substance use through education, coalition building, and media plan development.

At WMMHC, our prevention team works closely with community members and coalitions to provide educational opportunities for schools, alternative youth activities, media literacy, substance use training, and collaboration on events and projects. Additional training is provided on grant requirements and reporting.

This team approach provides a breadth of services throughout each county in the NW region of Montana, while also providing a cooperative and supportive environment for all team members. Our goal is always to provide the best possible behavioral health services to the community while creating a healthy, fulfilling, and enjoyable atmosphere for our staff. Depending on program requirements, the WMMHC Prevention Specialist may have the opportunity to work both in-person and remote positions.

This employment opportunity is grant funded.

Current openings available in Flathead (Kalispell) and Ravalli (Hamilton)- Full Time. Both Lincoln (Libby), and Lake (Polson) are Part Time.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree

+ One year related work experience

+ Ability to pass background check and driver's license check upon offer of employment.

+ Provide proof of auto liability insurance coverage per Western's policies.

+ Montana Driver's License with good driving record
