Position Summary
The IT Services Specialist role is designed to maintain optimal computer functionality, enabling users to effectively complete their tasks. This involves managing, prioritizing, and resolving user support requests efficiently.

Problem-solving may require utilizing diagnostic tools and providing direct, hands-on assistance at the desktop level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address user inquiries and issues through various communication channels, ensuring timely and courteous support.
  • Perform on-site troubleshooting, including software installations, hardware upgrades, and system configurations.
  • Analyze and resolve straightforward technical problems.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technicians as necessary.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on workstations and peripherals.
  • Document user interactions, including problem details and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Manage inventory of computer supplies.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across the organization.
  • Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.

Work Environment

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and communicate effectively.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds may be necessary.
