Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in the preparation and dispensing of medications. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions
  • Answer customer questions and provide information about medications and health-related topics
  • Restock shelves and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Pharmacy Technician certification or training preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time
