Required Skills

  • Availability to work predominantly during weekend shifts and flexible weekday hours as necessary for overseeing production systems.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in supervising various applications, databases, operating systems, network protocols, and web servers.
  • Proficient in assessing overall system performance (including Windows applications, IIS web applications/services, and batch jobs) to detect potential problems, report findings, analyze, and optimize accordingly.

- Proficient in utilizing SCOM and Azure Monitoring/AppInsights monitoring tools

  • Capable of crafting medium to complex SQL queries, and skilled in using MS Excel for report generation.
  • Prepared to work during weekend shifts and adaptable to varying weekday schedules.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate within and across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Primarily oversee production systems during weekend shifts and adjust weekday hours as needed.
  • Monitor .Net web applications, databases, operating systems, network protocols, and web servers.
  • Review reports and alerts, responding promptly to any identified issues.

Conduct analysis and troubleshooting to pinpoint potential problems and communicate findings to relevant teams for resolution.

  • Set up and operationalize various alerts and reports.
  • Develop SQL queries and utilize MS Excel for analysis and troubleshooting of reported issues.
  • Maintain effective communication skills to facilitate collaboration within and across teams.
